And it is filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani who is more than excited about the second instalment and also revealed that they have been contemplating about it. According to a report in a daily, Rajkumar was all praises for the superstar and also mentioned about how he would love to work with Aamir Khan once again. Further talking about the details of the sequel to 3 Idiots, the filmmaker asserted that they have a great idea that he along with his writer Abhijat (Joshi) pitched to Aamir Khan despite it being sketchy. But the superstar liked it and has even agreed to come on board. Strictly maintaining that there are no plans for a PK sequel, Rajkumar also did not divulge much details about 3 Idiots 2 considering that the film is still in its initial stages. On the other hand, Rajkumar Hirani last announced the Sanjay Dutt biopic which is said to star Ranbir Kapoor as the popular actor.
